If you would like to take classes at FTCC, live
outside of Cumberland County, and are unable to register at the
campus, let us assist you. Currently enrolled students should
register via
WebAdvisor or contact their
Advisors for assistance with class selections. Newly program
approved students are not able to use
WebAdvisor for the initial
registration and should contact their Advisors for assistance.
Before you can register for classes at FTCC, you must have an
Admissions Application on file. If you did not attend curriculum
classes Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 or this will be your first time
attending the College, please submit an
online admissions application if
you have not already done so.
If you are a new student who is not program approved (Special
Credit), you are not able to use WebAdvisor for the initial
registration. Please use the form listed below to submit your class
selections. Note: Some classes may have prerequisites. Please check
our college catalog to see if the class you are interested in taking
has a prerequisite. The course catalog descriptions are located at
http://www.faytechcc.edu/crsdesc/.
If you have not taken the prerequisite at FTCC or have not received
transfer credit for the course at FTCC, a copy of your transcript is
required. You may fax a copy of your transcript to the Registration
and Records Office at (910) 678-0085. Please put on your fax cover
sheet--"THIS IS A REQUEST TO HAVE TRANSCRIPT
EVALUATED FOR REGISTRATION".
You will be registered for the classes you selected during the open
registration period if seats are available. Payment for classes is
expected as listed on the
registration schedule. You will be
contacted via the email address that you listed on the form in reference to
your registration status.
All students
taking face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes are required to
login to
Blackboard
the first day of class. Blackboard Academic Suite©®™ is
the course management software used by FTCC for online course
delivery. In the event that the campus is closed due to
inclement weather or emergencies, students can continue their
course work during these times and at times they are instructed
to login to Blackboard by the instructors. Each student is
assigned a
unique username for Blackboard
that is also used for campus computer access, student Email, and
WebAdvisor.
